As the technical lead for key end user customers, and reseller and consulting partners, the successful candidate for this job will be a critical technical evangelist within the western geographic region. The role is a combination of architect, pre-sales engineer and expert services consultant. Working in partnership with the Azul field sales team and Channel sales team, your responsibility will be to solve customers’ problems with a combination of innovative Azul technology, expertise and application knowledge. Four key areas of technical competency are required: System engineering, Java application optimization, application server middleware and virtualization.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Promote and educate targeted accounts on the Azul Systems technology
• Customizes demos to meet customer’s business needs
• Drive and deliver product evaluations, implementation, and deployment processes
• Maps high-level business problems to Azul Systems technology solutions
• Incorporates third party products in order to provide the customer with a complete solution
• Conducts technical workshops in order to facilitate a working level of knowledge with the Azul Systems products
