Software Engineers – Java Virtual Machine 

The Azul JVM delivers performance that far exceeds anything else on the market. We’re looking for people with experience in compiler optimization, garbage collection, and/or Java Virtual Machine internals to help take the Azul JVM to a new level of performance. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong C/C++ programming skills
  • Strong skills in optimizing system software and concurrent server-side processes such as Garbage Collection tuning and JIT compilation
  • Strong skills in developing and debugging multi-threaded code
  • BS in CS with 2-5 years experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong C++ skills
  • Knowledge of JVMs and JITs
  • Compiler optimization
  • An independent, creative, innovative thinker who is able to communicate well, and delivers
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field
