About the Speaker

Peter Holditch has spent the last 17 years working in the distributed systems arena in roles ranging from R&D engineering through to pre and post sales consultancy. He is currently a Senior Presales Engineer for Azul based in the UK, working closely with both customers and Azul engineers in order to ensure customer requirements are met and their java based applications are successfully deployed on the company's compute pool solution.

Prior to joining Azul in 2005, Peter spent nine years at BEA Systems providing technical advice to prospective customers about BEA's complete product portfolio in pre and post sales capacities.  Before joining BEA, Peter worked as a R&D engineer on products including hardware crypto devices, and the Tuxedo transaction processing monitor.
