Zing™ is completely transparent to your portal application. The Zing Java Virtual Machine (Zing JVM) replaces the JVM in your current environment, with no coding changes. Zing frees Java execution from the limitations of the current JVM and operating system, enabling each instance to scale dramatically to hundreds of GBs of heap memory and dozens of cores elastically based on real-time demands. The result is an architecture with a small number of large, elastic instances instead of a large number of small, rigid instances.
